Christmas Crafts by The O'Neil Sisters
Everyone needs to relax during the holiday season, so we created an aromatic getaway wrapped in silk shantung and topped with a pretty poinsettia. This Christmassy sachet is filled with flax seeds and dried cloves spiced with cinnamon essential oils. The glitter-tipped petals add a hint of holiday glitz.
Make one as a holiday hostess gift, or invite your closest friends over for a spa-crafting day! Print out our instructions. Set this sachet on a table as a model, then give each guest a square of fabric, a silk poinsettia, and a bowl to mix a custom herbal blend. Then pass around the silver lame ribbon and the fine red glitter. Put a pitcher of eggnog, and you’ve got a party!
Purdy Birdy Christmas Apron
Kitty’s Christmas Cookie Party is a hit every year, and it inspired us to make a funky apron with a little holiday spirit! We chose the mod fabric because of the kooky and colorful Christmas trees. We sewed on a charming bird pocket. We added a grosgrain ribbon sash and trim topped in yellow rickrack. Then to make the apron truly irresistible, we added a charming bird packet with a button eye. So cute!
You’ll be the hostess with the mostess at your cookie party when you wear this Purdy Birdy Apron!

Dreaming of a White Christmas Shadowbox
Decorate for the holidays with a vintage Christmas scene featuring an old-fashioned Santa amid drifts of faux snow. This 3-D scene has a background collage of vintage Victorian clip art, a standing cut-out of an old-fashioned Santa, and a real bottlebrush tree.
We dusted the inside with mica flake snow. Then we trimmed the picture window and tree with silver and gold beaded garlands. The shadowbox has a fine glitter finish thanks to Plaid Extreme Glitter Paint. Place on a plate stand on a side board or hang on the wall.

Vintage Victorian Christmas postcards have the most wonderful images of old-fashioned Santas, reindeer, and trees. We photocopied clip art from Dover’s Full-Color Holiday Vignettes. We cut out each charming image and decoupaged it onto a one-quart galvanized pail. Then we gave the whole thing a soft matte finish and added a red satin bow to the handle.
Fill it with vintage Shiny Brite ornaments, then flank it with candles on your dining table for a old-fashioned holiday centerpiece. Or place it on the table in your entryway with a display of Christmas cards.

Glittery Twittering Lovebird Wreath
We love greeting our guests during the holiday season with a whimsical wreath on the front door. We made this glittery lovebird wreath by wrapping a wreath form in strips of emerald raw silk and embellishing it with silk poinsettias and holly leaves dusted in fine glitter.
We made the little swing out of copper wire and tied it to the top of the wreath in two places so it swings in the center. Then we dusted two white craft birds with iridescent fine glitter and perched them to the swing. So cute!
