WHAT TO DO
1. Carefully remove the front cover from the paperback. Trim the torn edge with scissors.

2. Color-photocopy the cover onto semi-gloss cardstock, then cut it out using the paper cutter.

3. Wrap the note card with the ribbon and tie it closed on the right side, where the card opens. Tape the ribbon to the front of the card.

4. Glue the photocopy of the book cover to the front center of the note card (over the ribbon) using rubber cement.

5. Using the permanent pen, write “You’re Invited” in cursive onto a gold foil seal. Stick the seal onto the book cover. (Don’t cover up the book title or romantic couple!)

6. Use the computer to print the invitation details onto bright pink paper in an area 4” across by 6” high.

7. Use decorative-edge scissors to trim the bright pink paper. Open the card and mount the bright pink paper to the inside center of the card using rubber cement.

8. Tie the invitation closed with a bow and place it in an envelope. Handwrite the address of the invitee in cursive using the gold paint pen.
Party Teaser
Add a quote to your invitation to titillate your guests. “She longed for a purse. The kind of purse that could carry her keys, her glasses—even her lipstick. The kind of purse that could satisfy her every need…”
