YOU’LL NEED
Materials & Embellishments
  • Yellow card, 4”x5½”.
  • Card stock: ivory, orange, teal.
  • Sandpaper.
  • Plaid “Simply” double-sided foam mini stamp set, Sea Adventure, clamshell.
  • Rubberstamp, swirl background, 4”x5”.
  • Craft paint, teal.
  • ½” yellow ribbon, 12” length.
  • Swarovski Flat Back rhinestones, Crystal, 3mm, 3.
  • G-S Hypo cement.
  • Craft punch, 2½” circle.

WHAT TO DO
1. To create the beachy card embellishment, stamp the clamshell onto ivory card stock using the teal craft paint. Cut the clamshell design out leaving a 1/8” border of ivory around the shell. Add sand without making a mess by cutting a circle out of the sandpaper 1½” in diameter. Use foam tape to attach the shell-stamped ivory card stock to the sandpaper circle.

2. Use the 2” craft punch to cut a circle from the teal card stock. Punch a hole in the top of the teal circle. Using double-sided tape, attach the sandpaper circle to the teal circle.

3. To create the background, stamp the swirl pattern onto a piece of 3½”x5” ivory card stock with the teal craft paint. Cut a strip of orange craft card stock 1½”x3½” and adhere it to the swirl background using double-sided tape.

4. To attach the beachy card embellishment to the background, wrap the yellow ribbon around the orange strip and run the ends through the hole in the top of the teal circle. Tie the ends in a knot. Attach the swirl background to the yellow card using double-sided tape.

5. To add a little glitz, use the G-S Hypo to glue the crystal rhinestones to the seashell.

6. Print the party details on the inside of the card.
